Torch Run:
Sixty high school athletes will carry the torch from Manchester to the Opening Ceremony at the National Stadium on Tuesday March 23. Each torch-bearer will run approximately 5 kilometres and the run is expected to last about 8 hours. The torch run route goes from Manchester to Clarendon via MayPen, on to St. Catherine via Old Harbour, then to Spanish Town and from there to Mandela Highway to Dunrobin Avenue and ending at the National Stadium.

Opening Ceremony:
Date: Tuesday March 23.
Pre-Ceremony: Gates Open at 2PM - Championship Trophies will arrive via sky-diving team and entertaining video montages will be shown
Ceremony Start: 5:30 PM Torch Arrival & Torch Lighting Ceremony National Anthem Parade of Schools.  Popular Artists will perform including Etana, Tarrus Riley, Elephant Man, Chino and more!
