Current Sport: Track and Field 

Q.  What areas of Track and Field do you participate in?
A.  I participate in the 200m,400m,4*100m and 4*400m relays.
 
Q. What do you think are your strengths and weaknesses as an athlete? 
A.  I am a hard worker,determined, and really believe in myself.  My self-confidence, and focus are my key strengths.  
I have learned to think both mentally and physically. I have the ability to cope with failures and try to learn from my mistakes. I really like be challenged , and I just want to learn as much as I can in  my position.  
At the end of the day, I need to be able to look back on my day and feel good about what I have done(win or lose).  
I guess you could call it sense of self worth.  That's why I  always put my all into everything I do.   
 
Some of my weaknesses as an athlete:
I lose patience sometimes.  
The job of keeping up with my health and managing injuries can be a challenge.
Finding balance between all my obligations 

Q. Do you plan to pursue a career in Track in the future?
A. Not really. I'm interested in pursuing a career in social work.
 
Q. What/who is your biggest inspiration?
A. My family,coach,friends and fans.
 
Q. In what ways do you think being involved in sports has benefited you?
A. Being involved in sports has benefited my personal approach to life, physicality and social in the following ways
  • valuing preparation
  • time management 
  • long-term thinking
  • attitude 
  • self - control 
  • teamwork
Physically it also has benefited my fitness levels, stress reduction ability and technical mastery and I have acquired healthy habits. I now know that what counts is talent and heart!
