Profile - Jonathon Reid - Captain, KC Team

Q: How does it feel being the captain of the Track team of the renowned Kingston College?
A: Its an amazing feeling to be the captain! Knowing that many great Jamaican men were in this same position at this noble institution, makes me realize that I have some large shoes to fill. Especially this being the 100th anniversary, makes me even more honored! There is a hard job at hand and I am here to do it!

Q: What area of Track and Field do you participate in?
A: I compete in high jump and triple jump.

Q: As captain, what do you think are the strengths and weaknesses of your team?
A: We have an all rounded team. Our main strength is our class two boys and our weakness is in class three.

Q: What are your future ambitions?
A: To get a scholarship to the states to further my education and excel in track & field.

Q:
What/who inspires you most?
A: Inspiration for me comes from JESUS CHRIST! and my mother!

Q: In what ways do you think being involved in sports has benefited you?
A: Being involved in sports has been one of the best decisions vie made. Sports has made me travel, meet new people, stay healthy, keep me out of trouble and enjoy life, but most of all sports has made me disciplined and has taught me time management! Doing sports actually makes me do well at my school work.  This is because I don’t have much time on my hands so I learnt to manage my time and always take time to study.
